The Presidential Election
To this day I still cannot believe that I lived to see the day when we would finally come to have a black president. Many of our grand and great-grand parents told us that we may never come to a day where people can accept that other races will begin to run for office and they may have to accept change. With that being said, at first there were many types of rumors placed upon the United States and what may happen when this day came. I cannot say that I didn’t believe that some of the rumors would be proven right, but I did begin to question some of them as the days passed. On the day of the election I could barely sleep as I tried to forget about the progression in the counting of the ballads, and who may become presidential elect. On the following morning I awoke earlier than normal because I was so anxious to find out who had won and what people thought about it. I know for a fact that I will remember that day for the rest of my life because that was the day I actually began to believe that change can come amongst our nation and people could learn to accept reality.
OMG I HAVE PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY READ THIS!!!

Music Is Life
Music: One thing that I can’t live without. It seems like it eases all of my pains when I’m down. Sometimes it even helps prevent me from saying things that I may regret saying after it has already been said. I really don’t mind what type or kind it is, as long as it’s of good quality. I sometimes listen to music on a Saturday when I need to do a weekly cleaning in my room and when I clean up the house while no one is there. My mom hates when I play it loudly, but to me it soothes me and also keeps my nerves calm. Many of the times that I’m at home, I have an I-pod or some other music player, and I might be no where to be found. The only way that you may find me is if I suddenly want to go to sleep or have to go somewhere. My motto for music is “Music Is Life. You can love some of it or hate most of it, but either way you listen to it, so you learn to get used to the sound.” I tell everyone who says they hate a certain person, who makes music that the only way you will stop hating them is by actually taking the time to learn why they make certain music as they do.

Best Friends
What is a best friend classified as: loyal, carefree, good listener, and always there? That’s mostly what I would say they have in the sense of qualities. My best friends make me feel as though I belong and without me, they would feel incomplete, like I would feel without them. We each obtain very different personalities and qualities that the other person doesn’t. We also may have knowledge that the other is lacking, based on past experiences. The way that I chose who I acknowledge as my friend is so complex compared to others. Some base it on who they have known the longest and others on who they could trust the most; I’m way different. My best friends have been the ones who make me smile when I feel down, they give me advice on certain situations, and they have my back when I’m right and when others think that I’m wrong. Personally, I’m proud to say that all of the friends that I have, I’ve chosen wisely and plan to keep the friendship with them.

Ya Boy Bow
There are many rappers that are in the music industry that and have successful records out. One person that never seems to have to worry about whether or not they will be successful is Bow Wow. He has been in the industry for almost 17 years and all of his albums have been number one on the music charts. Each single that is released is also in the top five on video countdowns and radios worldwide. Starting at the young age of 3, he knew that he was meant to be in the spotlight rapping. Sooner than he thought he was at an amazing concert rapping for Snoop Dogg, who quickly showed him to Atlanta producer Jermaine Dupri. That’s when he got the attention of many of the young ladies in the world. I have been keeping up with him since day one and never once thought that he was one who would let superstardom get to his head. I have met him one time while he was not on tour and I have to say that he is pretty humble and honest. If I had another chance to hang with him for a day I would gladly take it because I think that we have a lot in common. I also think that he gives good advice and is a good and funny person, who you should get to know.
